Often referred to as the Pride of Sydenham, the General Gordon has been an integral part of the local community for over 80 years. Situated directly opposite the Sydenham train station and steeped in history, the Hotel was named after General Sir Charles George Gordon (1833 – 1885).Today the General Gordon has been restored to its former glory and our recently renovated beer garden is open for you to drop by and enjoy a cold beer or tasty meal from our bistro.
